"Korner," established in the 1950s, stands as a testament to resilience, being one of the oldest continuously operating gay bars in the USA. Notably, it holds the distinction of being Shreveport's sole queer-owned gay bar in town. The veteran gay bar features drag shows on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month and hosts a monthly leather night. Open Monday-Saturday from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Ernie's
Ernie's, a queer-owned establishment, shares ownership with Korner Lounge. Renowned as Shreveport’s premier dance destination, Ernie's boasts a state-of-the-art sound system highlighted by "The Wall" – an impressive feature that sets the tone for an unforgettable experience. Additionally, Ernie's hosts drag brunches throughout the year in partnership with Shreveport Biscuit Company, adding an extra flair of excitement and inclusivity to its vibrant atmosphere.

"Central" is Shreveport's largest LGBTQ+ bar and nightclub, welcoming people from all walks of life. The bar features several themed areas including a country bar, disco bar, video lounge, and the 1025 Show Bar. They host drag shows every Saturday night and are open seven days a week with happy hour from 5-8 p.m.
Bear’s
Bear's on Fairfield is a popular queer-friendly bar that hosts live music. Live music offerings at Bear's typically include indie rock, hip-hop, songwriters, and more. Open 4 p.m. until 2 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
Strange Brew is a vibrant queer-friendly hangout boasting a massive beer selection, frequent live music performances, and billiards. Open 7 p.m. until 4 a.m., 7 days a week.​​​​
