2018 Women's March
The Women's March...
in Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana, will be held on January 20 at the Caddo Parish Courthouse on Texas Street, starting at 11 AM. Hundreds of marches and rallies are planned around the world on the anniversary weekend of the 2017 Women’s March.
The Women's March is a women-led movement providing intersectional education on a diverse range of issues. The platform of the march is known as the Unity Principles - a unification of the collective struggle of all people. The Unity Principles addresses women's rights, worker's rights, LGBTQIA rights, civil rights, disability rights, immigration rights, an end to violence, and environmental justice.
PACE has been invited to have a table at the march so please stop by to say hi, learn more about what PACE is doing, and if you're not a member, find out how to become one!! We'll also have information about our young adult peer-to-peer social support group PACEY!
