North Louisiana Gay and Lesbian Film Festival
The mission of the North Louisiana Gay and Lesbian Film Festival is to recognize the important contributions lesbian and gay filmmakers have made to our culture; to educate the general population and raise awareness of gay and lesbian issues, as well as effect change in the political arena; to investigate the history of gays and lesbians in film, including the stereotyping that has been a major part of this history and to counteract this stereotyping with valid, meaningful, and diverse portrayals of gays and lesbians.

Centenary Outreach
Student Organization goal is to increase compassion and community awareness of GLBT issues

Forum for Equality
A civil rights organization dedicated to the establishment of a society free from discrimination.

LSUS Gay Straight Alliance
The LSUS Gay Straight Alliance is dedicated to promote diversity, equality, and unity.

Mystic Krewe of Apollo
Mardi Gras Krewe primarily comprised of gay men.

Mystic Krewe of Atlas
Mardi Gras Krewe comprised of gay and straight individuals and couples.

PFLAG Shreveport
FLAG (Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) work to improve the quality of life in the GLBT community through moral support, public education, and civil rights advocacy.

Philadelphia Center
A non-profit community service organization dedicated to providing HIV/AIDS education and support those infected.

Pink Party, Inc.
The Pink Party is held every year in April or May. Money raised benefit the Easter Seals and Philadelphia Center.

Robinson Film Center
The mission of The Robinson Film Center is to exhibit the best in international, independent and classic film while serving as a resource for filmmaking and film education.

The Brotherhood Task Force of NW LA
The mission of the Brotherhood Task Force of Northwest Louisiana, Inc., is to develop and implement effective, culturally relevant disease prevention services, education and HIV counseling and testing to people of color and undeserved individuals in Northwest Louisiana.

Transgender Alternatives Project
Their purpose is to help everyone be proud of themselves regardless of their sexual status by looking for alternatives to stereotypical standards and expectations in the Shreveport-Bossier area.
